Much has been written about the origin of the talent of young prodigies, but just where this skill  comes from is still very much a mystery.   Shuan Hern was playing piano at the age of two and has gone from strength to strength, developing artistic skill astonishing for someone of his age. That word "developing" is probably a major key to the mystery of his talent.

 

The idea that a prodigy is born with the ability to play Chopin and the age of two is something of a myth. Although Shuan Hern was composing music  before he was three, even then it seems that the process wasn't automatic.  To assume that it was is to take something away from the determination that this drives this young pianist.
