CHRIS DRAGON - CLARINETIST & CONDUCTOR

 A creative work in progress

 Go to Page 2:

Chris Dragon's story is impressive. Already an accomplished clarinet player, in the background Chris had his sights set on a career as a conductor. In order to fast-track this, Chris and fellow musician Joel Bass formed their own orchestra, The Swan Philharmonic. Other music students were keen to join the orchestra for a new playing environment. Several experienced musicians volunteered to act as tutors, offering their skill and experience to make The Swan the success that it rapidly became. Several clips of Swan performances can be found on this site.

Chris' conducting talent, and his powerful drive as an artist, was  further formally recognised when he was appointed Assistant Conductor with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.  More recently, following strong international competition, Chris was appointed Associate Conductor with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra.
